01.5 ways to get rid of open pores
Enlarged pores on the face are a common skin problem. In essence, they are a hole in the surface of the skin. While normal isn't particularly problematic, an enlarged one can cause a sebaceous gland to form, which secretes oil to lubricate and protect the skin. After a while, the oil becomes clogged and the tiny pores of the skin stretch. And obviously, these pores look ugly. Try these common home remedies for this problem.
02.Use cucumber
and lemon
A humble cucumber is the best way to say goodbye to
enlarged pores because the high silicon content in vegetables not only gives
the skin a youthful appearance but also helps to close the enlarged pores. For
best results, use lemon as the astringent in it will tighten your pores. Mix
two tablespoons of cucumber juice with one tablespoon of lemon juice to make a
sachet. Now apply the mixture to your face with a cotton swab. Let the juice
dry and wash with cold water.
03.Banana peel
Don't we all love bananas? But have you ever wondered
about the benefits of exfoliation? Well, get ready to be amazed! Banana peels
contain lutein, which is an antioxidant that helps nourish the skin. In
addition, banana peels contain potassium, which contributes to flawless skin.
Simply take a banana peel and rub it over your skin in a circular motion.
Continue rubbing for fifteen minutes and then wash off with cold water. Using
this product twice a week will significantly tighten large pores.
04Fuller’s Earth
Fuller's or Multani Mitti's earth not only reduces
blackheads but also helps to tighten pores as it absorbs oil and dirt from
open pores very well. Plus, it helps exfoliate dead skin cells. Using it once a
week can close your pores. All you need is two tablespoons of Fuller's earth
and some water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste all over your face and
let it dry. When it dries, wash it off with cold water.
05.Turmeric
We've read enough about turmeric's antibacterial
properties, but little has been written about its pore-tightening properties.
Since turmeric reduces skin inflammation (kills bacteria that grow inside the
pores), it, in turn, reduces the swelling around the pores. Take a teaspoon of
turmeric powder and mix it with a few drops of water to make a paste. Now apply
the paste to your skin and let it sit for ten minutes. Then rinse off with cold
water.
